Entra ID extended Intune policy support, advanced restores, and filtering

We’re pleased to announce Microsoft Entra ID backup product enhancements available in RedApp — built to give you greater control, flexibility, and efficiency across your backup and restore workflows.

You can now safeguard critical Intune policy configurations, accelerate recovery with bulk restore actions, define restore behaviour with detailed settings, and navigate large datasets more easily with powerful filtering capabilities.

Device configuration policies

You can now back up and restore device policy settings within your environment. This ensures critical configurations are preserved and recoverable, helping you maintain consistency across devices.

App protection policies

We now support backup and restore for App Protection Policies, allowing you to recover important data protection rules for managed apps with confidence—supporting compliance and security continuity.

To begin backing up the newly supported object types, please update your permissions in RedApp.

Restore settings

Take full control of your restore process by customising how backups are restored — including relationships and related sub-objects — to preserve data integrity and ensure a reliable recovery.

Bulk restores

Save time and streamline your recovery workflows with bulk restore support. Restore multiple objects in one action, reducing manual effort and ensuring business continuity with speed.

Table filtering

From now on you can quickly locate the objects you need using our table filtering capabilities. Whether you're looking for guest user accounts, security groups, or other objects, the experience is now faster, more precise, and easier to navigate.
